About Cyprus International University Faculty of Medicine
Cyprus International University (CIU) is guided by the Rectorate, a governing body responsible for both leading the institution and representing it externally. The Rectorate is composed of the Rector, Vice-Rectors, and the General Secretary. The Rector serves as the head of the Rectorate and acts as the primary spokesperson for both the Rectorate and the University.

Admission Process to Study MBBS in Cyprus International University Faculty of Medicine
- The application process at Cyprus International University (CIU) begins with prospective students creating a profile using their email address. They complete the online application form and upload the required documents through the application system or via local representative offices.
- Once the application is evaluated, eligible prospective students receive an Acceptance Letter (AL) through email.
- The next step involves making the initial deposit payment, as specified in the AL. This payment is transferred to the CIU bank account through the student’s local bank.
- After the deposit payment is successfully completed, prospective students receive their Acceptance Letter (AL) via email.
- Students who require a transit visa can apply for it with the AL at the nearest Turkish Embassy.
- To ensure a smooth arrival, prospective students book their flights to Ercan Airport in North Cyprus and share their flight details with the CIU International Office. This allows the university to organize transportation to the CIU campus for the students.
Scholarships Offered to Study MBBS in Cyprus International University Faculty of Medicine
- Cyprus International University offers academic scholarships to undergraduate students, with varying levels of scholarships (50%, 75%, or 100%) or discounted tuition fees for each academic semester.
- International students are eligible for a 50% tuition fee scholarship.

Cyprus International University (CIU) offers two primary types of residence halls: studios and apartments, each providing distinct features to cater to students’ needs. Studios are typically without individual kitchens, although some may have shared kitchen facilities available. On the other hand, all apartments come equipped with their own kitchens and shared living rooms, offering more extensive facilities for those who prefer to cook their meals. In all residence halls, students enjoy complimentary high-speed internet access, telephone service, and mini refrigerators in their rooms. Additionally, most residence halls, excluding Kantara, provide televisions with access to cable channels for entertainment.
One of the advantages of residing in these halls is the regular cleaning service that covers both individual rooms and common areas. Students can choose from fully furnished single, double, or quadruple studio rooms that are equipped with central heating, while some studios even offer air conditioning for added comfort. If students prefer apartment-style living, CIU offers single and double rooms within 2 or 3 bedroom flats.
